North Augusta, SC--North Augusta has been known for some good quarterbacks under Dan Pippin. Lorenzo Hammonds comes to mind. He was more of a dual threat. For Trib Reece, more your prototypical quarterback who can sling it all over the yard.

Friday against T.L. Hanna, he did just that. When the dust finally settled, the numbers were pretty guady. 15 of 21 passing, 300 yards and four scores, all in the first half, all covering more then 30 yards. Not bad for a guy who wasn't exactly warming up like he knew a big game was coming.

"Well at the begining when I was warming up I was skeptical, I wasn't following through and stuff and then when game time hit, after that first touchdown, everything just started rolling and everything was just easy." said Trib Reece "When I go from JV to Varsity, it's a whole different level so it slows down tremendously now and it clicks now"

Reece did get quite a bit of playing last year and you could see the potential. Now, with another year under his belt, the sky is the limit.
For his efforts in Fridays win, we honor north augusta's trib reece as our Academy Sports player of the week.
