Edmund Burke with third coach in three years

Monday, August 18, 2014

Waynesboro, Ga--When Edmund Burke straps on the pads Friday's, they'll have a bigger junior class then seniors. The good news, a lot of those kids already have plenty of playing experience.

Charlie Fales steps in as new head coach and will need everyone to perform at a high level if they want to keep up the recent winning success. Some guys are being asked to shift positions with hopes of being ready when the lights come on.

"These seniors I got behind me, we're really strong" said Ryan Kent "We push the guys, make them better, make them work hard."

"We want to practice every day to a higher standard" said new coach Charlie Fales "If we can do that, then we can perform on a Friday night. So our initial goal is to come out here everyday and try to raise the standard and be the best we can be in practice everyday and then we'll see how that washes out on a Friday night."

Bo Goodwin is back in the backfield so there's stability there.
