HARLEM,Ga.---Coach Jimmie Lewis underlined the youth on this year's Harlem team. Only 3 or 4 starters are returning on offense and defense for the Bulldogs following a 4 and 6 campaing last season. He'll be dealing with that inexperience in a novel way. For the first time in long career with the Bulldogs, Lewis will utilize a 2 platoon system. Basically running out different starters on offense and defense throughout the game.
The Bulldogs will be trying to make up what they may lack in experience by making sure their team is rested and fresh in the 4th quarter.
Lewis says, "You don't really approach it any differently. You just work 'em harder and try to teach and just teach as good as you can because they're young and they've got to learn. We've just gotta have a lot of patience and just continue to teach."
The Bulldogs will find out how much they've learned next Friday night when they host Evans.
