MONETTA, S.C.---Head coach Mark Rodgers has established a winner at Ridge-Spring Monetta and now the challenge is building on last year's success.
The Trojans lost a 4 year starter at quarterback in Devonne Quattlebaum and, like every team this preseason, are struggling with the heat. Not so much because of fatigue but mainly because it has cut down on how much they can practice.
Rodgers says, "We have to go a long way. We got a lot of work to do. Just on basic stuff. Being here, you don't practice 5 or 6 times a day. So we practice late and we look like we practice about as many times as we have."
Here's the good news, the trojans return 15 starters to a team that went 10-4...
