Wrens, Ga--It is unchartered waters for Jefferson County's football program. For the first time in school history the warriors are playing in the third round of the state playoffs. It's something they've been working on for years, but have never been able to get this far.
Undefeated and really a team that has been battled tested. Every game in the regular season is a region game and they've survived them all. A number of close games has this team ready for anything. All the hard work in the off season pays off in late November and this team isn't ready for the ride to end just yet.
"Well what I think is that we're not satisfied." said Jefferson County coach JB Arnold "The minute we get satisfied and that may happen, we may just kick it into cruise gear but we're not satisfied, you know we're in this as a school and as a program to win a state championship."
While Barry Bostic leads the way, it's been a number of others guys who've stepped up their game to play at the elite level. The likes of Dontavious Kitchens and Chester stone complement bostic. Warriors set to battle top ranked calhoun on the road Friday night.
