It's a new era at Josey with John Noah now running the show with the eagle program. The former assistant handed the reins in the off season and quickly went to work on rebuilding the program. Just one word is needed this year, discipline.
Not a single player will say Josey has been a disciplined team in the past few years, thus the struggles getting wins. This year, that's first and foremost on everyone's mind. No individual ball, no showboating, this will be a different team you'll see when you watch the eagles.
"We're doing things a little different this year, we're putting discipline into the program." said new coach John Noah "That's the way it's going to be, we say something, then that's what is meant. It'll take a while for them to figure it out and once they do they'll fall in line."
"Yea, much more discipline" said Chris Bostic "We're much more organized, more structure to the program."
They only had two wins a year ago, but four of the losses were by less then 10 points. Yea, they were that close. With almost the entire offensive line back and a decent amount of skill players, the winning attitude could return quickly.
"He's bringing in new plays, we're working hard and stuff like that. Better practicing and conditioning, we're running better drills and stuff like that so I'm sure we'll win." said senior Ross Noah
"That is the number one thing we're trying to do, get the winning attitude back. Get the stride back into our kids, head up and dedication to the program." added coach Noah
Coach Noah says they'll find out early where this team is when they scrimmage Laney on the 15th.
