There are probably a lot of reasons you could come up with for why Strom Thurmond is a perfect 10 and oh and a number one seed in the playoffs. One of those reasons is running back Maurice Brown.

The senior has been running wild all season, including last week versus Gilbert, rushing for 191 yards and two touchdowns in helping the Rebels finish a perfect regular season. He even added a fumble return for a score, giving him 19 total touchdowns for the season. While the stats are nice and the long runs are exciting, it's brown's leadership that helps set him apart.

"He's brought a leadership and unselfish attitude to our team this year that has been very important to us and help get us to where we are today" said Lee Sawyer

Today, the team is in the playoffs and it's win or go home time for the Rebels. But Brown is ready to kick it up another notch.

"I mean, I have to do my best to keep it going because I still want to play. I don't want to end this season right now" said Maurice Brown

It's a good bet Brown will run wild again this week against Columbia this Friday. But for his performance in the regular season finale, Maurice Brown is our Operation Football Live player of the week.
