Augusta, Ga--In this day in age in high school football, having a quarterback that can not only throw the ball well but also run the ball is sometimes hard to find. But you'll find one at Cross Creek.
His name is Keenan Grissett and after watching just one game, you'll see why he is so explosive on offense. Against Westside, the senior racked up 294 total yards. And last week against Butler, 213 yards through the air and another 108 yards on the ground to lead the Razorbacks to their first win. Despite the amazing personal stats, he's doesn't hesitate to thank his teammates first for his success.
"I have to give all the credit to my line and my receivers though. Without the receieves, I wouldn't have the pass yards and without the line, I wouldn't have the rushing yards. So I give all the stats and stuff to my teammates." said Keenan Grissett
And not only is Grissett very humble but he's also is a great leader. After missing time last year due to a shuolder injury, he's fought his way back to the field and earned the respect of his teammates
"He is a tremendous athlete." added coach Scott Tate "The kids look to him. He's what people call a field general. When he walks in the huddle, he's gonna take charge. He's gonna run our offense and he's gonna do a great job doing it."
Grissett and the Razorbacks host Josey this friday night but for his 321 total yard performance against butler, Keenan Grisseett is our Operation Football Player of the week
