Augusta, Ga--There's no set criteria to be an Operation Football Live player of the week. But let me tell you, rushing for 308 yards sure doesn't hurt
Well that's exactly what Westside's Chris Hunter did last week. 25 carries, 308 yards and get this, four touchdowns in their big win over Cross Creek. The junior running back rushed for 218 yards in the first half alone helping the Patriots cruise to a sizeable lead. While some runningbacks like to classify themselves as power or speed, Hunter's running style may be best described as versatile.
"I don't know if I can run through many people but I can probably run around you. I'll try to run through you if I can but I don't try to underestimate myself to nobody." said Chris Hunter
"Well, it's great to know that we have one like him in the program. He works hard and he's a hard worker. He just gives it his all" said coach Ivory Hugee "And it's real important to have a guy like him behind an offensive line that is just blue collar. That's the kind of team we are."
And now that hunter has run for more than 400 yards in two games, you can expect Westside to run the ball even more in the weeks to come. Westside's Chris Hunter, our Operation Football Live player of the week.
