Augusta, Ga-Of all the football teams that had a season to remember last year, Cross Creek is high on the list. A school best 8 and 3 record and a trip to playoffs. Now they're trying to duplicate the feat this year.
It won't come easy as the Razorbacks lost a bunch of key personel including the shark, running back Patrick Province who had a career year. A guy they'll rely on heavily, quarterback Keenan Grissett. A very talented season will be leaned on to run the show and make the right decisions on friday nights.
"You know we're looking for Keenan (Grissett) to be the field general on offense and he's been working hard and we've had some young kids start to step up for us and run the ball for us" said coach Scott Tate "We're still looking to get that position down."
When you have a season like they did, Cross Creek gained a ton in confidence and actually more kids and athletes come out for the team this year. Besides Grissett, the defense will also need to duplicate last season in whcih they gave up just three touchdowns or more only once.
