If you were looking for a sleeper team this year in the CSRA, Midland Valley may fit the bill. While they may be lacking on defense, they have an offense that can probably put up points with the best of them.

One big cog in the offensive machine, wide receiver, kick returner, Mr. Do everything Jesse Scott. The senior is a game breaker just about every time he touches the ball, which should be a lot once again. With senior quarterback Cameron Epting coming back as well, it's a combination that could be lethal

"I think he threw five interceptions last year and two of them were in the last quarter of the last game" said head coach Rick Knight "He's been very effcient with the football and we're going to turn him loose a little bit this year."

"It feels a lot better then last year was, less butterflies" said quarterback Cameron Epting "I was scared to death before the first game last year and now I'm pretty confident"

Scoring points shouldn't be a problem, stopping teams could be. The defense took a pretty big hit with graduation and a lot of kids will be asked upon to play on both sides of the ball for the Mustangs. The Valley opens the season against North Augusta.
