North Carolina is back on top of the weekly Associated Press men's college basketball poll. The Tar Heels, who were on top of the pre-season poll and then hung on for ten weeks, replace Tennessee. The Heels, who are 27-and-2, jump up from the number-three spot in last week's poll.

Ming Done For the Year For The Rockets

Yao Ming is out for the season with a stress fracture in his left foot. Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey announced the decision on Tuesday. Yao is averaging 22 points and 10.8 rebounds for the Rockets, who have won 12 straight games.
