Sept. 23, 2013 ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) -- Alex Rios of the Texas Rangers has hit for the cycle against Houston in his first four at-bats.
Rios completed the cycle with a triple to right-center field in the sixth inning Monday night. He made it to third base standing up without a throw.
The right fielder thought about going for third on a two-run double in the first inning, but held up about 25 feet beyond the bag at second.
Rios had an infield single in the third and hit his 18th homer to left field in the fourth.
He's the seventh Texas player to hit for the cycle. Adrian Beltre did it Aug. 24 last season against Seattle.
It's the third cycle in the majors this season.
