EAST RUTHERFPORD, N.J. (AP) -- Super Bowl hero David Tyree will miss the rest of the New York Giants season. After being placed on the physically unable to perform list before the start of training camp and pulling a hamstring once he started practicing on Oct. 15, the sixth year pro has been placed on injured reserve.
Tyree is the guy who made "The Catch" in New York's Super victory over the Patriots in February's championship game. The leaping grab in traffic on the team's final drive, when he secured the ball against his helmet as he fell to the ground, set up Eli Manning's game-winning touchdown pass to Plaxico Burress in the final minute.
