BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) -- LSU football coach Les Miles has lifted
Ryan Perrilloux's latest suspension. But a school
spokesman says there is no timetable for the quarterback's return
to the field.
Perriloux was the heir apparent for the starting job after
leading LSU to two victories as a starter when senior Matt Flynn
was injured during the 2007 season. Miles suspended him indefinitely in February, shortly before spring practice began, for unspecified team violations.
Perrilloux's former high school coach, who remains close to the
quarterback and his family, has said Perrilloux missed a mandatory
team meeting, then missed classes to attend his father's funeral
without notifying coaches. It was the third time Perrilloux was suspended from the Tigers' program.
