WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) -- Darryl Strawberry has agreed to pay
the IRS more than $430,000 in back taxes, penalties and interest.
The former major league star was convicted of tax evasion in 1995 over income from autographs and memorabilia.
Court papers show that Strawberry has already paid the IRS more than $8,600 of the total amount.
Strawberry was an eight-time All-Star and member of two World Series championship teams. He has also battled drug problems and cancer.
