NFC Out Guns AFC in Pro Bowl Game

Sunday Feb. 10, 2008
HONOLULU (AP) -- Terrell Owens and Adrian Peterson each accounted
for two touchdowns as the NFC outscored the AFC 42-30 at the Pro
Bowl in Honolulu.
Owens grabbed a pair of touchdown passes, including a six-yard
throw from Jeff Garcia that put the NFC ahead. Peterson earned game
MVP honors after becoming the first player to run for more than 100
yards in a Pro Bowl since Marshall Faulk and Chris Warren in 1995.
Peterson scored twice as the NFC rallied from a 24-7 deficit.
The two teams combined for 48 points in the first half, tying a
Pro Bowl record. The only punt of the half turned into a fake and
an 11-yard completion from Andy Lee to Tony Richardson.
T.J. Houshmandzadeh caught touchdown
passes from Peyton Manning and Ben Roethlisberger
(RAWTH'-lis-bur-gur) for the AFC.
