New deal for Packers coach
GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- The Green Bay Packers have signed coach Mike McCarthy to a five-year contract that runs through the 2012 season.
McCarthy led the club to the playoffs this season with a record of 13-and-3. The 44-year-old has won 18 of his last 22 games with the Packers after a 4-and-8 start to the 2006 season.
