FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) -- Is Tom Brady injured or not?
Hours after being photographed with a walking boot on his right foot as he followed girlfriend Gisele Bundchen into her New York apartment on Monday, other pictures show the New England quarterback wearing black shoes -- and no boot -- when he showed up at a New York hotspot.
Patriots spokesman Stacey James says the team has no comment and
Brady's agent did not return a phone call or e-mail seeking comment.
This season's NFL Most Valuable Player and the Patriots will play the New York Giants in Super Bowl 42 a week from Sunday.
Brady has been extremely durable in his NFL career. He started his 126th consecutive game Sunday when the Pats beat San Diego 21-12 in the AFC championship.
The Patriots' backup quarterbacks are Matt Cassel and Matt Gutierrez. Cassel has thrown 39 passes in his three NFL seasons with New England. Gutierrez is a rookie who completed the only pass he threw this season.
