PALM DESERT, Calif. (AP) -- D.J. Trahan surged with a final-round
7-under 65 to win the Bob Hope Classic by three shots over Justin
Leonard. Trahan finished 26 under par for his 90 holes for his
second career win. His final round included eight birdies and a
bogey.
Leonard, who won this event in 2005, shot even par for his final
round. Anthony Kim and Kenny Perry tied for second, four shots
behind Trahan.
