Dogs are better than people? Dude (or dudette) .. Dogs are animals! I agree that they should not be tortured for anyone's entertainment, or for any other reason, but come on. Saying that dogs (or any other animal) are better than people is a ludicrous statement. G .. out .. -g.money

Vick should get whatever the prison sentence is. He was a great quarterback for the falcons, but dogfighting is wrong. I love dogs all my life, and they are to precious and loving to be made to fight for adult pleasure. If he doesn't get the correct punshiment from the law, he would have to answer to God for what he did. I pray he truely understands what he did and that he has ask for forgiveness. Thanks!

I saw on TV those precious beagle pups that Mr. Vick and his gangster friends used as "feeder" dogs for his sick and barbaric dog fighting pleasure. It broke my heart. I welcome his prison sentence and wish it was longer. Dogfighting is evil plain and simple. I have heard others trying to justify Mr. Vick by saying there are other horrible crimes out there. This is true but one evil doesn't cancel out another one. Mr Vick should not only go to prison but should also have his fortune confiscated and given to charities which aim to stop animal cruelty. Dogs are so much better than people!
