Lynx Add Familiar Face

Posted: 02/19/2008 - Augusta Lynx Head Coach Bob Ferguson announced today that the Lynx have added forward Shane Hynes, who was assigned by the Portland Pirates of the American Hockey League. Hynes, 24, played in 49 games with the Augusta Lynx last season, scoring 45 points. The forward from Calgary, Alberta began this season on Portland’s roster, but had yet to play a game this season due to injury. He is expected to be in the line-up on Friday against Florida for his first action of the season.
