Tuesday, March 11, 2014

Sandersville, Ga--Washington County's AJ Gray has verbally committed to play football with Georgia Tech after his high school playing days wrap up.

The do-everything Golden Hawk plays both quarterback and safety for Washington County and visited the Atlanta campus last week, and then made his verbal commitment Tuesday.

Coach Joel Ingram said the school has Gray number one on their board at safety but hasn't ruled him out of playing offense. During his junior year, he amassed over 3000 yards of offense while leading Washington County to the Class 3A state title game.
