Thomson's Milan Turner steps down as football coach

Thomson, Ga--For the second time in three weeks a prominent head coaching position has come open in the CSRA. This time in Thomson, as coach Milan Turner has decided to step down.

Turner spent three years running the Bulldog program and was 24 and 10 during his tenure in Thomson. This past season, just three and seven in playing one of the toughest schedules in the state.

Turner had the dubious honor of replacing Luther Welsh and said he's stepping aside to spend more time with his family and his kids. Before coming to Thomson, turner led ECI to a couple of state titles.
