Ridge Spring, SC--When Heath Corley got to Ridge Spring Monetta, it was a program in a tailspin. Not easy to quickly turn things around. Last year they made leaps and bounds and now the can do attitude has been instilled with the kids.

A seven win season that included two playoff victories have this Trojan team believing. Sure they lost some big pieces to the puzzle, but some key ingredients remain, namely guys up front. Coach Corely sees it every day the difference in attitude.

"It's the disappointment with failure" said Heath Corely "When I first got here, I don't know if it was accepted or a state of mind, but now it's disappointment and kids holding kids accountable. We really don't have to say much, even though we do anyway, but the kids are holding each other accountable and they know exactly what was wrong and that's huge."

A concern they need to straighten out is at quarterback. Corley says he has three right now, he also says if you have three, you probably don't have one. They might rely on the offensive line more til things are settled in the backfield.
