Not a big difference from the NGA Golf Tour to the others

Thursday March 14, 2013

Edgefield, SC--The NGA Golf Tour has returned to the area with the annual Kandy Waters Memorial Classic. Once again Mount Vintage is the site of the event with the best of the up and coming golfers hitting the links

Many of the top 10 on the tour are in the field this week gunning for the first place check. Now the NGA Tour has been around for a number of years now and continues to be the feeding grounds for the likes of the Web.Com and PGA tours. In actuality there isn't a huge difference from this level to the next.

"It's a lot of the flat stick" said Clayton Rask "Anwhere inside 150 yards those guys are unbelievable. They putt day in and day out and make just about everything they look at. That's the difference from here to there. Any of us could be out there, it's just a matter of getting your break and your chance to be out there."

Not a lot of low scores today , the wind was blowing and two under is the current leader. The event runs through sunday at Mount Vintage Plantation.
