AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW) -- It's not that often we get a NASCAR driver come through the area.
Last time, it was Dale Earnhardt, Jr. Wednesday, one of the best in the business in, Aiken, Kevin Harvick.
The two-time winner on the track this year was at the new Ollie's signing autographs and posing for pictures with the 200 plus folks who were lucky enough to get a chance to meet him. On the track, it's been a solid year for the #4 car and while you hope to win every race, you need to be a realist about things as well.
"You're not going to win every race," said Kevin Harvick. "There's too many circumstances that have to play out throughout the day-- when the cautions fall and when things happen on the track. So, you have to worry about finishing in the top five and on the days when you have the chance to win the race, you need to capitalize on that."
Harvick is one of a half dozen guys with multiple wins on the year so that will put him in a good spot when they reshuffle the points for the chase. Just four races left for the sprint cup before the playoffs begin.
