Augusta, Ga--When Jason Eller came over from Georgia to GRU Augusta, he knew getting the baseball team back to their winning ways would not be easy. Heck, they've been at the bottom of the Peach Belt standing the last couple of years. But Eller likes what he sees and is embracing the challenge.

The jags are back on the diamonds and in the batting cages getting ready for the season, which is now less then a month away. Eller likes his senior class and sees there's potential to have a good team. Don't expect miracles right away but look for them to get better as the year goes on.

"I believe in the process" said Jason Eller "Yes it would be great to come out and win our first series against Carson Newman and get off to that point but the best teams I've ever been around save their best baseball for late in the season. So if we just understand if we play good baseball, we'll win our share of games"

Jeff Rice and Hunter Boose are poised to lead the offense and as Eller says look for this team to be flying under the radar seeing nobody is expecting them to do well. One change this year, all their games will be played at Lake Olmstead Stadium.
