Graniteville, SC--All is ready for the fourth annual Junior Invitational at Sage Valley. The first round scheduled to go off Thursday morning.
Tuesday, players getting another day of practice in as again, the course in Granitville is in excellent condtiion. The special treat today, the appearance of Gary Player. Always an ambassodor of the game, player talked to the kids about their game and how they need to appreciate what they have. Something a lot of kids take for granted.
"There's been a massive sense of entitlement in the youth of America today and they're not entitled to a damn thing" said gary Player "You got to get out of there, you have to work and realize what made this the greatest country in teh world, is hard work, education, and respect. This is the kind of thing I get through to these young people, how very, very fortunate they are."
Player can relate seeing he came from humble beginings in South Africa. The tournament finishes up saturday and Tickets are just $5 to see the top junior golfers in the world.
