Curtis Baptist, Augusta Prep win to advance to GISA title games

Macon, Ga--Curtis Baptist and Augusta Prep have advanced to play for GISA state titles on Saturday night. The Crusaders in Class A, the Cavaliers in 3A

Curtis Baptist beat Dawson Street 64-43 to advance. Juwan Rouse scored 22 to lead the Crusaders to the win. They will now take on Oak Mountain in Saturday's final at 1:40 at Mercer.

Augusta Prep outlasted Westminster 36-34 to advance to the 3A title game. This was the fifth meeting between the two teams, but none bigger then tonight. This game was close throughout with the Cavaliers prevailing in the closing minute. They will now play in the state finals Saturday night at 8:20, also at Mercer.
