AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) -- Rory McIlroy's commanding four-shot lead at the Masters evaporated in a hurry, and he's locked in quite a battle as he tries to nail down his first career major victory.
The 21-year-old from Northern Ireland was at 11-under as he approached the back nine, one shot ahead of Charl Schwartzel, K.J. Choi and former champ Angel Cabrera.
Tiger Woods briefly grabbed a piece of the lead after opening the final round seven shots in back of McIlroy, but a bogey on the par-3 12th hole put him two strokes back. Luke Donald and Adam Scott were also on the back nine at minus-9.
