AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- For the first time in tournament history, the Masters will have a father and son playing in the same tournament.
There's been 10 other combinations, but never teeing it up in the same event.
Monday, Kevin and Craig Stadler hit the course together. They only got two holes in before play was suspended, but it was a chance for Kevin to pick the brain of the former champion on the do's and don's out here. While Kevin wants to win, dad will savor every moment .
"It's emotional in a very, very good way. I envisioned this and knew it would happen some day. I was hoping it would happen some day. I was pretty sure. The rest was up to him," said Craig Stadler
"It's going to be really fun to be on the inside of the ropes. I've been here quite a bit. I just don't know what I'm about to get myself in to," added Kevin Stadler
Craig has said this will be his last Masters, he's just been waiting for Kevin to get an invite. He also said it also took his son to get him inside the media center for the first time in 20 years.
