Tiger talks on a Masters Monday like no other

News 12 First at Five, April 5, 2010

AUGUSTA---It was a Monday like no other at the Masters. Tournament week got underway with the most popular golfer in the world front and center.

Tiger Woods' opening day on the course and his first talk with the full media were both sights to behold. He played on a course for the first time in six months in a practice with Fred Couples.

In Tiger's Q&A, his first time talking with the full media since his accident in November, he once again took full responsibility for all the mistakes he's made over the last few years. He said he was very happy to be on the course and that he's missed it plenty.

Tiger did say that one thing that did hurt him was not being home for his son's first birthday, and that that would not happen again.

Now Tiger's hoping for business to return to normal. He even went on to say that despite all that's gone on, he's got one goal: to win. Should that happen, it would be his fifth green jacket.

During all his missteps, Tiger said, he was fooling himself more than anyone else.
