AUGUSTA, Ga.---While you can usually tell the Phil and Tiger galleries from a mile away, there's been a fair share of folks watching Larry Mize.
The 1987 champ is one of the good guys out there and its so tough to root against him. You almost have to root for him!
Mize started the tournament with a 67 but hasn't found the birdie brigade since. He did post one on number two, but the other par 5's is what cost him a good round which included a bogey on 15. When you're not a big bomber it's tough to challenge many of these pins. The experience has gone a long way, but at the end of the day Mize felt hi score could have been lower which he is disappointed about
"I definetley wanted to get down, shoot in the 60's today and get a little bit closer" said Larry Mize "It just wasn't to be I guess. I feel like I played really solid."
