Pressure builds for Masters rookies

April 8, 2009

AUGUSTA---You know there have to be lots of butterflies today for this year's Masters rookies.

One guy who's starting to have nerves creep in is Georgia product and tour veteran Ryuji Imada. Imada's been on the tour for nearly a decade, but the Masters is a whole new ball game. While he may be a long shot to win, he's already dreaming about winning a green jacket.

"In real life, or in a dream?" Imada joked. "I've thought about it a few times. It would be wonderful if I could slip one on."

Imada is one of about a dozen first-timers in the field, who are all likely in for a restless night.
