AUGUSTA, Ga.---The fifth annual Rock Fore! Dough concert started just before 5 o'clock this afternoon. The First Tee of Augusta hosts the event every year, raising money to help children learn life skills through the game of golf.

"It is what it looks like, typical junior golf and kids, but there's a lot more that goes along with that. And this is a great opportunity to showcase that mission," said First Tee executive director Jill Brown.

News 12 caught up with the concert setup this afternoon. Bands performing include headliner Hootie and the Blowfish, Zac Brown Band, Shawn Mullins, and 48 Volt.

"It has become, I think, a fixture event for Masters Week," Brown said. "I think it is equally anticipated locally as much as the tournament is."

The event is held at First Tee of Augusta, off Damascus Road near Daniel Field.

Wow. If they had actually advertised that the Zac Brown Band was going to be in the line up, I am sure my family and I would have attended. Thanks for the lousy advertising of this event!
