Thousands came out to First Tee of Augusta Tuesday night for the second annual Drive For Show, Rock Fore! Dough concert.

News 12's Jonathan Martin was there as several big bands took the stage.

If you like music, Rock Fore! Dough was definitely the place to be Tuesday night. And though this was only the second annual concert, judging by all the people here today, this will soon become a big Masters tradition.

It's a night Virginia Woodfield of Augusta says she won't soon forget.

"I was so excited; I got to shake his hand. I got my picture taken. It was great," she says.

Not only was she first in a long line to get an autograph from her favorite band Hootie and the Blowfish, she and the thousands who came out saw four big names performing live.

Big names like Better Than Ezra, Emerson Hart, and Collective Soul.

"They're hip, they're classic, they're not too offensive," said Connie Barron of Keysville, Georgia.

"Live music needs to come more often to Augusta," Travis Ferguson of Augusta said.

The Rock Fore! Dough concert is one of a kind in Augusta...and it seemed as if everyone was there.

News 12's Laurie Ott helped introduce the headlining acts.

Right before the concert, we caught up with the guys from Hootie...they tell us it's not just the concert, but the golf that brought them to Augusta.

"Oh yeah," lead singer Darius Rucker said. "Golf's my game. Yeah, I love it."

Hootie fan Connie Barron was a little too late for an autograph like Virginia...but its okay. She says she's taking home something even better.

"Whether you get a signature or not, you have the memory to take with you forever, the songs mark a part on your life. This moment, Spring Break 2006, will be marked by the songs by these people here tonight," Barron said.

And the good thing about tonight's concert, all the proceeds go toward the First Tee organization.

Tuesday's concert was hosted by Mike Mills of the band REM, with News 12's Laurie Ott helping out as guest emcee.
