AUGUSTA, GA -- It's a good thing Saturday patrons came prepared for rain.

The nice weather we've seen all week evaporated into a downpour suspending play at the Augusta National for just under an hour. But the wet stuff isn't going to dampen the spirits of some Masters patrons.

David Bost says, "There's absolutely nothing I can do about it. So, I'm gonna make the best of it."

John Way says he wasn't even concerned about the rain when he got to the gate.

"We're trying to decide if we're getting an egg salad or ham and cheese on rye," he said.

John's friend John Lumus knows all about rain at the Masters. He says a day at the Masters is a great day, rain or shine.

"Anytime you can go to the Masters, it's going to be a great day, even if it's raining or not raining. So we're looking forward to it," he said.

Alyson Feinburg's giving her badges to family members. She enjoyed the sunshine on Friday at the National, but admits, "if I had another chance to stay in here, I'd do it rain or shine. That's why you wear your rain coat and bring your umbrella."

Despite the wetness, David isn't going to ruin his plans to walk the course.

"I'm going to walk. It feels good to walk and I've been here when you couldn't walk. When you had to take baby steps because of the mud and I don't see that as a problem today," says David.

There was a 40 minute rain delay on Saturday.

For Mike Jullie, it wouldn't take much rain to get him off the course today because "I'm getting old!"

But for others, it's going to take a whole lot more.

"Maybe some really bad wind and pouring down rain," says David.

"It will rain frogs before I leave Augusta National," says John.
