The 10th-ranked University of South Carolina Aiken golf team concluded the first two rounds of the Springhill Suites Intercollegiate at the par-72, 7,062-yard Country Club of South Carolina in first place with a total team score of 560.
Evans resident Johnstun finishes 3rd at Georgia Public Links
First-round leader Ollie Schniederjans of Powder Springs birdied the 16th and 17th holes to move to 8-under-par 134 for the Championship and held off a charge from Matt Nagy of Kennesaw to win the 21st annual Georgia Public Links Championship.
Panthers fall flat in 38-10 loss to Eagles
