Locals dominate Southern Conference soccer list

Posted: 11/08/2011 - Georgia Southern’s Luigi Clendening has been named Southern Conference Men’s Soccer Co-Player of the Year after finishing the 2011 season with a league-high 13 goals to go with five assists. The senior forward led the Eagles to the third seed in the Southern Conference Tournament and four league wins after losing all six games in 2009 and 2010. He was joined on the all-conference team by sophomore midfielder Hunter Norton.
