Augusta, Ga--It's a good time to be a Patriot...success on the volleyball court, the football team is playing good ball and the softball is on the verge of setting some school history themselves.

Tomorrow, they hit the road and will play at Jeff Davis in the sweet sixteen. Two years ago they made it to the second round but this year's squad has more experience and confidence. Five seniors dot the roster that played on that team and they know it would mean the world to make it to the elite eight.

"I can't even express how happy I am" said Alexis Sanders "Like, my sophomore year, I was happy making it, but I didn't really know, like now that I'm a senior I realize oh my god we're in the sweet 16 and could possibly make it to the elite eight, it's really big"

"We have five seniors and this is the most we've had and those girls did get to enjoy that run that year and they finally understand it." said coach

This team is as healthy as ever including pitcher Racheal Bonitatibus, who's been awesome down the stretch. Key this time of year, defense. Westside realizes it and feel if they can make the plays they'll be in good shape tomorrow.
