Warrenton, Ga--While national signing day isn't until February, for Warren County's Torrez Wentz, a jump start on things, for good reason. The Screaming Devils Wentz is off to Old Dominion this weekend.
Wentz has played big for Warren County the last couple of seasons and is eligable to get a jump start on his college career and is taking advantage of it. The Monach program feels like home to the big senior.
"They have a good program, and I like the location of the school and they treat their players like family and I really like that" said Torrez Wentz "It will be a real good advantage to me to get use to the school and the players and get aquainted with my teammates early."
Yeah, you don't hear of a lot of high school seniors heading to college early but Wentz, he's got it going on. He knows if he puts in the work, he could also get a lot of playing time early on for ODU.
