USC Aiken 2nd, ASU 7th in latest regional poll
Augusta State, despite beating nationally-ranked USC Aiken on February 15, dropped two spots in the NCAA Southeast region poll released Wednesday.

AUGUSTA, Ga. – Augusta State, despite beating nationally-ranked USC Aiken on February 15, dropped two spots in the NCAA Southeast region poll released Wednesday.
The appearance marks a 32nd consecutive week Augusta State has appeared in the region poll, dating back to the 2006-07 season.
USC Aiken, which lost 58-53 at Christenberry Fieldhouse the same day the initial poll was released, moved up to the second spot.. Anderson (S.C.) jumped up four spots, buoyed by a season sweep of Lincolm Memorial, the top-ranked team in the region.
Georgia College also moved past the Jags into the sixth spot. The Bobcats fell to ASU 59-56 in Milledgeville in January.
