USC Aiken falls in Elite Eight to Drury

Louisville, Ky--In their first ever trip to the Elite Eight, USC Aiken saw their season end at the hands of Drury 84-75 Thursday night.

The Panthers were riding a 20 game win streak and jumped out early on the Pacers. At the half, Drury owned a 42-36 lead after leading by as many as 13.

In the second half, the Pacers Ronald Zimmerman got hot from three point land as they actually grabbed a 47-46 lead. But Alex Hall and Drury was too tough and went on a run to pull away. Hall ended with a game high 33 points to lead all scorers. Zimmerman had 20 and Re'Mon Nelson finished with 16 for USC Aiken
