Two more sign to play college sports

Friday, February 7, 2014

Undated---It's been a buys week of college signings and a few more today to cap things off. At South Aiken, soccer player Daniel Zaremba is headed to the Naval Academy.

Zaremba had a huge year with the Thoroughbreds netting 31 goals and adding 22 assists. He's still got this year to go as he hopes to lead them to a title. Over at Richmond Academy, offensive lineman Brian Nathan signed to play football at Albany State in the SIAC. Nathan readily admits seeing others who succeed in the program, like Willie Yarbary, pushes him to do the same.

"It's really inspiring" said Brian Nathan "To see people successful, you want to be like them. When you see it, you want to go after it, so that's what I'm going for"

Interesting to note, we'll be able to see Nathan play here seeing every other season they'll play Paine college.
