Signing Day

Undated--The fall signing period opening up today with a host of kids from around the CSRA signing letters of intent to play at the next level. Also, making moms and dads happy with scholarships.

At North Augusta, five kids signing today. Baseball players Ryan Lark and Chaz Davey are off to Erskine to play ball. A trio of swimmers also deciding on their future. Elizabeth Creech is headed to Alderson Broaddus to swim while state champs Nicole Fuller will be headed to Southern Illinois and Kelsey Williams to Gardner Webb. Always cool to have teammates on the stage with you.

"I'm really close, me Nicole and Elizabeth are like best friends and then just having my other friends here it's really cool, makes me feel special"

"It's great having somone up there" said Nicole Fuller "Honestly sitting up there signing is a little awkward even thought it's really exciting so having people you know and so proud of for signing themselves, just makes it even more fun"

Over at Evans, a quartet of kids signing. Among them, baseball players Garrett Wilkinson, he'll play ball at Chippole in Florida, and Brice Harrison, who's going to North Georgia. Softball player Alexis Schlein is staying at home and headed to GRU Augusta to swing the bat for the lady Jags. And Charles Griffin is keeping the golf tradition alive and is off to division one Alabama State.

"Oh it's great." said Charles Griffin "I've been waiting for this ever since I was young and golf has been a dream of mine and to be able to play at the next level is amazing and a dream come true"
