Undated--Things didn't go as planned for Strom Thurmond's McKenzie Talbert as she comes up short in her bid to win a fourth straight state title.

Talbert couldn't get on track today on the Coastal Carolina golf course and finishes in fourth place, five shots off the lead. Too many three putts her dad said. Despite not winning today, Talbert is the only golfer in state history to win three straight state crowns and was trying to set the bar even higher.

Talbert is headed to Clemson next year. She will be part of the first ever Tiger women's golf team
