Dallas, Tx--Silver Bluff product DeMarcus Lawrence grew up a Dallas Cowboys fan. When he was drafted by them, yea, a life long dream come true. Today, the final piece of becoming a Cowboy, signing his first NFL contract.
The former Bulldog and Boise State standout inks a four year five and a half million dollar deal with a big signing bonus as well. Cowboys expect big things out of Lawrence as they traded up in the draft to get him with the 34th pick.
During his time in Boise, 20 sacks and that's kind of what the Cowboys expect out of him. He should start right away, or at worse be in on passing downs to cause havoc with Dallas.
