Columbia, SC -- Marcus Lattimore gave reason for cheers at South Carolina Saturday night when he broke the school record for rushing touchdowns, but the night will be better remembered for a different play.
Quarterback Connor Shaw took a big hit and reinjured the shoulder he deeply bruised week one.
Once again, Dylan Thompson came into the game and took care of business, but there's definite concern surrounding the Gamecocks' starting quarterback.
Shaw said, "It's sore and really tight right now. It's the same crack in my shoulder blade, but, I mean, who knows? I got better in five days more than I expected last week, so hopefully I'll be back next week."
There's reason for Shaw to want to be ready this week. The Gamecocks host Missouri Saturday at 3:30 in the Tigers' first SEC road game.
