Paine College splits on the road at Albany State

Albany, Ga--The Paine College women remain in first place as they beat Albany State, while the men fall to the Golden Rams.

The women picked up a 72-62 win over the Rams. Ashley Watts led the Lady Lions with 22 points while Kiara Farley added 19.

The Paine women are now 6-2 in conference play.

Meanwhile the men fell to Albany State 69-64.

Allen Young and Kendric Taylor tallied 15 points in the losing effort.

Jimmy Link's team falls to just 6-9 and 4-4 overall
